INCLUDE JOURNALING ABOUT SOMETHING THAT
YOU WANT TO REMEMBER FOR ALL TIME
Happy Sunday and welcome to the fifth in a series of bi-weekly Sunday Challenges! It’s Remembrance Sunday here in the UK and so this week our challenge is to include journaling about something that you want to remember for all time.
Our subscriber, Vickie Rich, dove right in with ‘Hello, Beautiful’ Kit, creating the stunning layout you see below:
I cut out the heart design using my Cricut and backed it with papers from the MH Shine 6×6″ paper pad along with scraps of the Dazzle patterned paper. I used the Maggie Holmes alphas for the first part of my title and fussy cut the number 10 from one of the 6×6″ papers. I backed the photo on two sheets of white tissue paper and a piece of vellum and popped one of the Amy Tan stitched pockets behind it. This will be holding my journaling.
I clustered some of the stickers from the Maggie Holmes Shine 6×12″ sticker sheet around the photo and trimmed down a folded journalling card from the Project Life Aqua edition before adding my journalling and popping it into the stitched pocket. Lastly, I topped the journalling card with one of the phrases from the 6×12″ sticker sheet.
The journalling is all about Bubs’ bedtime routine and how we say “I love you”, “I love you too”, “I love you three”, “I love you four”… and so on until “I love you 10”.
