Hi everyone, it’s Vickie here and I’m back with another December Day By Day project using the gorgeous Cosy Toes kit.

A great way of adding extra interest to an album is to think outside of the pocket. I love to have lots of different textures and interactive elements in my albums. These could be vellum divider pages or photos popped straight onto the binder rings, the possibilities are endless. For this post I’m going to show you how to make a file folder with pockets for photos/ephemera and a waterfall page. Both are sized to fit into a 6×8 album.

There are step-by-step video tutorials for both pages and the cutting and scoring measurements are listed below each project.

FILE FOLDER WITH POCKETS

Pocket – 4″ x 9″ – scored at 0.5″ on two shorts sides and one long side

WATERFALL PAGE

Measurements for the waterfall page

B – 5″ x 5.25″

I hope you’re inspired to think outside of the pocket and introduce some interactive pages to your albums. If you have any questions about the measurements or process then please do leave a comment and I’ll do my best to answer.

Until next time, happy scrapping!
