Happy Mothers Day to all of you UK Mums out there. May today bring you lots of hugs from loved ones (and maybe a little scrappy time!).
Today we’re sharing a challenge using a brand new, especially-designed-for-us sketch by the super talented Laura Rumble.
We loved how those large scallops served as the focal point to the sketch and, with the exception of using two photos instead of one; decided to keep the sketch pretty much as it is. Here’s how the layout turned out:
The ‘proud’ cut file title is created from this design by Jodie York. The large scallops are created using a very old EK Success border punch and the rest of the elements came from the Getaway Kit, releasing to subscribers today. Keep a look out for this on general release on the 29th!
I loved this camera from the Crate Paper Oasis chipboard but felt that it was too ‘thick’ for the layout. A few minutes of gentle peeling away of layers and the camera became a lot less bulky with a gentle curl. So much easier to fit into an album too!
The #lifegoals sticker is from the Crate Paper Oasis Sticker Sheet and the black enamel dots have been in my stash so long that I have no idea where they came from! The jewel heart is by Maggie Holmes Chasing Dreams. I’ve had to ration myself when using these as I love them so much!
Hope you find some time to join in with our Sunday Sketch throughout the week.
Have a fabulous day!
